Schöne geschmackvoll eingerichtete Lodge. Unser Zimmer war auch super. Geräumig und sauber. Grosses Bad.
Abendessen konnte dazugebucht werden zu einem fairen Preis. Zog sich allerdings über 2,5 Stunden , für meinen Geschmack zu lang , war aber sehr lecker. Vom Frühstück war ich etwas enttäuscht, entsprach nicht meinem Geschmack. Ein kleines Buffet wäre vielleicht ganz nett...
Aber alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt . Wir konnten auch viele Tiere spotten. Sowohl beim Game Drive als auch abends von der Terrasse.

Super Aufenthalt erlebt! Willem+Team haben hier ein paradiesischen Anwesen mit top ausgestatteten und gepflegten Zimmern. Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Zum Frühstück gibt es immer ein Früchtemüsli mit Joghurt und anschließend eine Auswahl von zwei Gerichten frisch zubereitet. Abendessen ist zubuchbar und zu empfehlen. Die angebotenen Safaris finden auf dem eigenen Gelände statt (also nördlich der Straße). Alle Wege können auch zu Fuß begangen werden, was eigentlich in diesem Areal fast cooler ist, da es eben keine Löwen/Elephanten etc gibt - muss man aber eben etwas Laufen dafür.

Die Anreise über die östliche Route (also nördlich aus Oudtshoorn raus) is die empfehlenswerte, wenn man eben aus der entsprechenden Richtung kommt, da deutlich weniger Schotterpiste als auf der westlichen Anreise - gehr aber auch mit dem Standardmietwagen.

Wir waren 2 Nächte hier und wären gerne länger geblieben - top!

Great place to stay. To be reached via a gravel road to get the African style feeling even before arriving. Warm welcome and all time friendly service. I definitely get there again when I am next time in ZA.

30 Kilometer von der nächsten Stadt entfernt im Swartberg Resort. Unbefestigte Straßen die aber mit normalen Autos zu befahren waren. Zimmer sind toll und ruhig. Service ist super. Sehr persönlich und nett. Pool ist super. Genau der richtige Ort um zwischen den aktiven Tagen mal eine Pause zu machen und die Lodge bei tollem Wein zu genießen.

Een geweldige plek! Na 23 kilometer rijden op een gravelweg door een schitterende omgeving kom je uit op een ruime, rustige locatie die voelt als thuis. Alleen lopen thuis de dieren niet in je tuin... Een mooie kamer op thema, heerlijk eten en zeer vriendelijke staf.
Het hoogtepunt was de game-drive waarbij we verschillende dieren (giraffen!!!) op het terrein in het reservaat hebben gezien. Een echte aanrader!!!

What an incredible experience! Willem is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome and completely at home. His warm hospitality and attention to detail truly make this place something special.
The food was absolutely outstanding—every meal was delicious and beautifully prepared. The accommodation is spacious, spotless, and exceptionally comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking hiking trail, where we were fortunate enough to see an abundance of wildlife. The natural beauty of the surroundings is simply unforgettable.
We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and will most certainly be back. We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with outstanding hospitality, excellent food, and beautiful scenery. Don't hesitate to book—you won't be disappointed!

We stayed there for 2 nights. Amazing place, big comfortable rooms, very calm. The food was really good too and the people there very nice (Willem took very good care of us). Surrounded by a wild, huge land, we could walk and see the animals around (impalas, giraffes, zebras etc...). Great to disconnect from the everyday stress. Close to Oudtshoorn.
