We had a fabulous stay at the Swatberg Private Game Lodge! Willem was a wonderfully gracious host who simply could not do enough for us. We were passing through and very happy that he accommodated our somewhat last minute booking. It was such a memorable stay watching giraffes, buck and zebras roam freely throughout the property. The food was fabulous and the service even better. We highly recommend.

This two night stay will be up there as one of the most memorable travel experiences of our lives! Fabulous suite with patios on two sides. Marvellous setting in the mountains. Delicious evening meals. Home baked sourdough with breakfast. Set on a private reserve we did an evening Safari drive and the views of all the mountains was breath taking! Oh, and we saw giraffe, various Antelope and Cape Zebra! Cannot recommend highly enough. Willem and his small team were wonderful and we were genuinely sad to leave after two short nights. Prachtige kleinschalige Game drive lodge. In juni 2024 geheel vernieuwd. Heel rustig gelegen met schitterende uitzichten in het prachtige Swartberg reservaat waarop o.a. giraffes, bokken, zebra’s en gnoes rondlopen. Zeer gastvrije en ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaren en medewerkers. Genoten van het heerlijke eten, geweldige bed en de Game drive. Wandelen rondom de lodge is ook mogelijk in de prachtige omgeving en lekker relaxen aan het zwembad. We hebben er 2 heerlijke dagen gehad!

Ideal stopover for 1- 2 days : beautiful setting, rooms and public areas very well appointed. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!

We had a amaizing stay at the Swartberg private game lodge.
It such a beautifull place. The game drive was also amaizing and our guide Cowen was the best.We saw alot of wildlife and Breathtaking views.
The food was so delicious Thank you Florence it was really good. Your the best.
The staff is so friendly . We enjoyed our stay.
